This is a basic introduction to mindfulness. In this service, which can be an hour or two, we explore and answer the following questions:

  1. What is mindfulness?
  2. What does mindfulness look like?
  3. How might we benefit from mindfulness?

Mindfulness Classes

5 week class. Introduction to mindfulness practices in a group setting.

8 week modified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) class as developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn.


Half-day and day long mindfulness retreats.

Mindful Drawing

Ever wonder about the relationship between drawing and mindfulness? We do. Course taught by Ann Tarantino-Smith & Chris Smith.

5 week course.

1/2 day workshop.

90 minute presentation.

The Biopsychosocial Clinician

Module 1: “The Path of Self Mastery” focuses on understanding the biopsychosocial model of health care through the practices of Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Mindfulness. This is a full day presentation with John Burns DPT, PT, MS, LAc and Chris Smith, MDiv., LMFT.
